Method

1
1. Mix all the burger ingredients together in a bowl and season with salt & pepper.
2. With floured hands, create balls of the mixture and flatten into burgers on a floured chopping board. Put the burgers in the fridge for a few hours for the spices to infuse into the lamb.
3. Grill the burgers approximately 10 mins on each side, or until cooked through.
4. Mix together the yoghurt, cucumber and mint.
5. Serve the burgers on a lightly toasted burger bun with a dollop of the yoghurt mixture on top of the burgers. Serve with a side salad or chips.
Chef's Tips
Making your own burger recipes is easy: pick a ground meat, use a beaten egg for binding, then select your choice of herbs, spices etc. Even cheeses can be good. Try ground beef with crumbled blue cheese and diced onion if you don't believe me!
