Grill your sausages.
While you are waiting, prepare your vegetables, then:
Fry the onions, carrots and garlic until the onion starts to brown.
Add the tin of tomatoes and a splash of water, bring to the boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the baked beans, oxo cube, herbs, salt and pepper.
Allow to boil, then add a splash of milk. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
*The mixture needs to be quite watery as the sausages will be added once cooked*
When cooked, chop the sausages into bitesize chunks and add to the sauce. Stir them around a bit then pour them into a casserole dish.
Then place a layer of the thinly sliced potatoes on top of the mixture.
Put in the oven for 30 minutes, or until the potato is cooked.
Then sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is as brown as you like.
Serve with chunky garlic or tiger bread and butter.
Super recipes and very filling. I found it was better to boil the potatoes on the hob for 15 mins or so, just to make them that little bit softer. Lovely meal.
I tried this in Jan 2010 - it was lovely, however very very filling. I found it was better to slightly boil the potatoes for 15 mins or so on top of the hob to make them softer. Very tasty.

Gorgeous recipe, very easy to make and filling. The second time I tried it with cheesy mash on top instead of sliced potatoes. It was a big hit.
Very Delicious, especially if you dont have much time.
200 degrees :)
