Description
A Great Indian snack recipe. I went to a Indian cookery course and this was one of the recipes, Thanks Mae (our wonderful tutor/Chef), it is delicious.... :)
Method

1
Chop the onion and the potato into fairly small bits. (if making chicken pakora, cook chicken breast in Health grill first and allow to cool, then chop into bite size pieces). Place the Vegetables (or chicken) in the bottom of a bowl. Sieve the gram flour then the SR four on the veg. Add the spices, Salt and pepper followed by the yoghurt and lemon juice, Combine using your fingers adding milk until the mixture is a thick gooey consistency (if it runs off the chicken/veg to fast it is too runny). Gently drop spoonful into hot fat and allow cooking until golden brown.
Dip
Mix all ingredients together add milk and thin to paste consistency As Mae says, the secret is in the Dip.
I am so happy I could help with this. I have now moved to the USA, and I so miss Pakora, but I can make my own so all is good.Enjoy
At last! Being stranded in Bedfordshire and despite being surrounded by "Indian" restaurants, not one of them can produce this favourite Glasgow snack.I have tried this out and, it works. The taste buds were very appreciative, many thanks.
