1. Preheat oven to 180C.
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
3. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
4. Add egg to sugar mixture and blend well.
5. Combine flour mixture to sugar mixture, then add chocolate chips. Spread evenly in lightly greased pan.
6.Bake for 20 minutes.
