Description
This is the most impressive and simple dish in my repertoire!! Perfect for entertyaining :)
Method
-
1
mix the mince with all the other kebab ingredients and leave to sit in a bowl for as long as possible in a fridge or a cool place. If desired, squirt with a little lemon juice too.
form balls about the size of an egg, and push onto the middle of a wooden kebab skewer. Gentle press the ball out into a sausage shape until ony a centimeter or so of wood shows at either end. Repeat until all the mixture is used up and lay out on a chopping board or plate.
These are now ready to barbeque for around 8-10 mins, then can either be eaten from the sticks, or you can slide them off and oven cook them!!
Don't forget to soak the sticks in water before use!!!!
For the dipping sauce, simply stir the cumin, mint sauce, coriander and mint into the yoghurt, and serve in a glass dish.
I like to serve the kebabs on a big flat bed of rice with a couple of dishes of youghurt to hand. Great stuff :)
wow ill try this!!!
