1. Break up the chocolate, place in a pan with the remaining sauce ingredients and set over a very low heat, stirring until melted, smooth and shiny.
2. Peel the bananas and slice them lengthways. Arrange the halves in shallow dishes with a scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream and the chocolate sauce drizzled over. Scatter with toasted flaked almonds and chocolate coffee beans.
