- 4oz Cornflakes
- 2oz Porridge oats

Lightly grease a swiss roll tin, 13 by 9 inches and set oven to 180 degrees C. Melt margarine, sugar and syrup in a pan over a low heat. Crush cornflakes then stir them into the mixture with the oats. Turn the mixture into the tin and spread evenly to sides. Bake on centre shelf of oven for 10-15 minutes until it is tinged golden brown. Leave slightly to cool in tin then cut into 24 squares and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
