Description
An idea more than a recipe - instant healthy lollies for Summer!
Method
-
1
You will need an ice cream / lolly mould*, or you can use plastic / paper cups / empty small yogurt pots, or silicone cupcake cases, and lolly sticks / plastic spoons - 1 each per person.
Depending on the size of the lollies you are making, you will probably need between 80 and 150 ml yogurt per person.
Simply fill the mould (or alternative) with yogurt (I used gooseberry here), insert a lolly stick / plastic spoon and freeze for at least 2 hours.
If you are using plain yogurt, you can mix in a few fresh berries or some fruit puree (e.g. blitz a mango or some raspberries in a hand blender, with a little lemon or lime juice if you like).
Remove from the mould and enjoy!
Chef's Tips
You can also use fruit juice / fruit puree to make natural fruit lollies or ice cream to make ice cream lollies (see my recipe for 'Magnum style ice creams'.
*I have the Silikomart 'Easy cream classic' ice cream moulds (set of 4 with wooden sticks) which are 'Mini Magnum' size and really easy to use and to clean.
