Description
Adapted from FoodNetwork Tv, recipe from Dave Lieberman
A surprisingly wonderful salad one can grill in minutes. I never had grilled lettuce and it was wonderful!
Method
-
1
Separate the leaves of clean romaine lettuce and lay them in a 9 x 13 pan.
Drizzle on olive oil, salt and pepper and crushed garlic
Toss lettuce to coat well
After you are done grilling your burgers, steak, chicken etc, lay on the romaine leaves and grill them over high heat till they get a little brown
Remove to a platter, squeeze on fresh lemon juice and drizzle a bit of anchovy oil and pieces of anchovy over the salad.
Garnish with shaved Parmesan if desired
Serve while warm
Note: no croutons on this salad
Enjoy!
