Origin Pinot Grigio Organic

The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas

Description

I tasted loads of different cupcakes at taste of London and made up my own recipe by experimenting - too much rum the first time

Method

  1. 1

    1. Preheat oven to 160C

    2. Combine all the ingredients into a mix and blend until the mixture is creamy and fluffy - no lumps!

    3. Spoon into muffin cases filling it up about halfway

    4. Cook slowly 20 mins at a medium heat (160C)

    5. Remove and leave to cool

    6. To make the icing beat the cream cheese with the butter first. Then when smooth, add in vanilla essence, rum and icing sugar.

    enjoy

Hiya, these sound so delicious I can't wait to try them! I just wondered if you would be able to use the same recipe but rather than making cupcakes could you bake it in a cake tin to make a cake? I'm making them as cupcakes for a christmas present but would love to have a big cake of it in the middle too :)

Maybe you should try with 50ml Rum! I am going to give it a go again and will let you know how they turn out (my spiced apple cupcakes were awful so need to perfect them before I share!)

These sound good Carol. What an inventive idea for Christmas. I must say that when I first read the ingredients list and saw 100ml rum I thought it sounded like quite a lot, so it made me laugh when I saw you started off with even more! No wonder it made you giggly!
