Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose
This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.
Description
Having had this many times in Greece, I was given this recipe by my Greek friends Mum, so could make it at home. The rich sauce goes well with simple veg and herby potatoes.

1. Mix the salt, pepper & flour on a plate and dredge the diced meat in it.
2. Heat the oil in a casserole dish and saute the meat until browned. Add the wine, garlic, bay leaves and top up with 3 cups of boiling water. Cover the pot and simmer for 30 minutes on a low heat.
Whilst this is cooking, pre heat the oven to gas mark 3.
3. Cut a small cross into the root end of each of the peeled onions. Add the onions to the pot along with the cinnamon, cloves and tomato paste. Add more water if needed and season to your taste.
4.Place in oven and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
5. Serve!
