brown jimmie dean sausage in skillet with peppers,onion and chopped celery. add blackeyed peas (including juices) and rice. mix well and add garlic salt and pepper to taste. transfer all ingredients to a 9x13 inch pirex, and cover with foil. bake for 45 minutes at 275 degrees. enjoy!
