Description
my friend made me this in bournemouth when we had caught the mussels fresh from the sea. its so easy and quick to do and only needs some nice crusty bread to serve!

firstly fry off the onions and peppers just until soft. then while this is frying quickly fry off the chorizo until slighty crispy. add the chorizo to the onions and peppers than add the wine and reduce.
Once reduced add the tinned tomatoes, mushrooms and tomatoe paste along with the garlic paste. add this according to your own taste and also add the chilli, paprika, basil, garlic and salt and pepper. Allow this to simmer for 20mins but add the mussels with 5 mins to go till the end of cooking. then simply serve with some nice crusy bread or some rice. This is just as nice with prawns instead of mussels.
