1. Cream yeast and sugar together.
2. Rub lard into flour and salt.
3. Make into a dough with the yeast and other
liquids.
4. Cover with a cloth and put in a warm place
to allow to rise for 1 hour.
5. Knead well, and stand for another 1/2
hour.
6. Make into shapes and bake in fairly brisk
oven.
