St Hallett Poachers Blend

Produced from a blend of three classic Barrosa varieties, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, these fruits are harvested at night to retain the crisp, tropical aromas and citrus fruit flavours. A fresh and distinctive Australian wine.

Description

Indulge in the rich and comforting flavors of Chicken Tikka Masala, a dish that brings the warmth of Indian cuisine right to your kitchen. With tender pieces of chicken enveloped in a fragrant, spiced tomato sauce, this recipe is both easy to prepare and deeply satisfying. Finished with a swirl of cream or yogurt for a luscious touch, it pairs beautifully with your favorite rice, making it a perfect centerpiece for any meal.

Method

  1. 1

Whizz all these’s spice paste ingredients together in your blender with approx 4 tablespoons of water to make a thick coarse paste.

  2. 2

You can also use it to marinade your chicken or meat etc beforehand.

  3. 3

Pack of skinless chicken (recipes say 250gm chopped chicken but I always use much more LOL).

  4. 4

    1 medium onion diced.

  5. 5

    Tin of 400g chopped tomatoes.

  6. 6

100ml single cream or plain yogurt.

  7. 7

    100ml water.

  8. 8

Fry your onions until golden, stir in the curry paste and add the chicken, cook it until the inside of the meat is white.

  9. 9

Add the tin chopped tomatoes and water and cover pan, simmer on a low heat for 20 minutes.

  10. 10

Finally stir in the cream or yoghurt and garnish with chopped coriander leaf (optional).

  11. 11

Serve on a bed of rice of your choice.

Chef's Tips
