Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose
This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Chop the onions, carrots and fine beans.
Fry them for 3 minutes in olive oil.
Add the minced beef and fry until cooked. Add the red wine, and allow to simmer.
Add the onion gravy and stir well.
Then add the salt, pepper, sugar and herbs.
Reduce the heat and:
Boil the potatoes in salted water.
Once boiled, drain, then add the butter. Mash in as much as possible, then gradually add as much cream/milk as is needed to make the mash smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the meat mixture into a large casserole dish, then spoon the potato on top. Use a fork to draw lines on the surface.
Put under the grill until the fluffy potato peaks start to brown.
Serve with my 'Cheats Onion Gravy' in a massive bowl, and a big glass of cider.
Made this for the family last week and every last bit was eaten up - even by a picky 3 year old!!I have tried loads of different cottage pie recipes but this is definitely the tastiest. As I was cooking for little ones I used the Heinz low sodium stock instead of ordinary stock cubes. Thanks Jamin - lovely stuff
sounds and looks good, not sure about the cheats gravy though. Washed down with cider, now there's a girl who takes after her mother! xx
