Preheat the oven to 190Β°C/375Β°F/Gas Mark 5. Line the base of a 500g loaf tin with greaseproof paper and grease the sides well.
In a bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar, mix in the eggs and bananas until smooth, then stir in the Alpro Chocolate shake.
Sieve the flour with the baking powder and fold gently into the egg mixture. Pour into the loaf tin and smooth over the surface with a palette knife.
Bake in the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes. Test if itβs cooked by inserting a thin skewer into the centre of the cake, if it comes out clean with no mixture on it, the cake is ready. Leave in the tin for 15 minutes before turning out on to a cooling rack.
Chef's Tips
A brilliant way to use up bananas that are starting to go a little soft β all the better for mashing.
