Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

Easy recipe to prepare that is sure to impress.

Method

  1. 1

1.Slice the tenderloin into 6 equal pieces, then flatten each piece using a mallet or heavy weight until each piece is 1/4 inch thick. Season with the salt and pepper.

2.Melt a little butter in a frying pan or a griddle and then place the beef pieces side by side and turn when brown leaving the meat pink in the center.

3.Set the meat aside and then add into the pan 2 tablespoons of butter and when it has melted add the mushrooms and shallots. Fry for about 15 minutes and then sprinkle over the sugar and cook for another 5 mins. Add the rest of the ingredients for the sauce and bring to the boil and then let the liquid reduce.

4.When you are ready to serve heat the beef through in the sauce letting it all bubble up and then serve onto the plate and spoon some more sauce over the meat.
